A Guide To Twentieth Century U.S. Historical Research for Graduate Students

This pathfinder is for the University of Maryland graduate history student conducting research for a dissertation.  It provides information and resources for locating primary and secondary sources in the broad field of 20th century American history.

Students will find information on conducting research (both in person and online) at UMD and in the DC/MD/VA area, including information on databases, journals, libraries, archives, and museums.

This pathfinder also provides information on other important aspects of graduate-level study, such as citation, funding and relaxation resources.
